How do people in your country protect thier jewelry? IELTS Speaking part 1

In America (or possibly were I live in state of Texas) we just mainly use guns if we are protecting our jewelry by ourselves. But a lot of people choose to go to a bank which has a safe deposit box, so I guess we mainly overall in America use banks.
