The often clearly visible demonstrations are intended to spread awareness among the public, or disrupt the goings-on of the protested organisation. Sit-ins were a form of protest used to oppose segregation, and often provoked heckling and violence from those opposed to their message.

sit-ins were when colored people sat in a segregated are for white people which showed they were not willing to be segregated any longer.

boycotts were powerful because a large sum of people refused to use the things that segregated them and largely influenced busses and things like that.

sorry if this didn't help ><

garik1379 [7]

Answer:

In order to pass legislation and send it to the President for his signature, both the House and the Senate must pass the same bill by majority vote. If the President vetoes a bill, they may override his veto by passing the bill again in each chamber with at least two-thirds of each body voting in favor.

Which characteristic defines prehistoric societies?
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

B. No written language

Explanation:

The very definition of prehistoric refers to the lack of written records or documents.

Prehistoric societies used tools and migrated often, and the understanding of science is too recent to be relevant for the question.

Despite the lack of a written language, we can learn about prehistoric society, precisely because of their tools and their migration patterns. Where to and when did they move? What kind of animals did they hunt? Their social structure and ideas of death, all that is there in their tools and remains. But without a written language, the knowledge we have is only approximate.
