The most obvious reason such a soft-bodied animal would change color is to hide from predators and octopuses are very good at this. They can change not only their coloring, but also the texture of their skin to match rocks, corals and other items nearby.

What is the error in this experiment please ??
True [87]
An error is that the scientist did not control their variables. They had one group of people playing the game at 6, and another group playing at 12. This means that other things might have affected the scores other than what was being tested, which was caffeine.

Different types of potatoes have varying natural sugar concentrations. explain how this may influence the water potential of eac
dedylja [7]
In one sample, the potatoes that have more sugar will also have more water that will diffuse into them. Potatoes are hypertonic in relation to pure water, simply put, they will gain extra water weight as well as displace more water than potatoes that are lower in sugar. In a separate sample, potatoes that have a higher concentration of sugar will also lose far less water due to their lack of hypotonic nature. Those with lower sugar will easily loose more water.

Sometimes a mutation is beneficial to an organism’s fitness and can be passed on to offspring. What is likely to happen to the m
Allushta [10]

The mutation will occur often in offspring and leads to development of genetic variability in the gene pool.

Answer: C

Explanation:

Mutation refers to the process which causes disturbances in the normal DNA pattern.

When such phenomenon occurs over many generations, it will become a common process in offspring and increase the chance of difference in variability in the genetic makeup as well as the gene pool.

It is because, the first stage of mutation appears tedious to the organism.

As it gets transferred from one generation to another generation, the species due to its capability identifies certain ways and exhibit genetic variability due to the mutation.

By this way the mutation will become more common in offspring as their parent have mated in the presence of mutation.
