What are some of the ways in which an ethics of justice sees morality differently than an ethics of care? What is one moral prob
Nookie1986 [14]
In Ethics of Care, the idea behind morality and ethics is that the moral actions are centered around the ideas of care and benevolence for other people. They would also claim that it is based around individual decision making and high involvement of context in deciding on moral actions and on creating the ethics system.

In the Ethics of Justice system, there are a lot of utilitarian ideas that revolve around the social contract theories. What is just and moral is what is best for the overall community or what damages the least amount of people in a community. It has also been deemed as the moral reasoning which is common to men.

Ethics of care would be best suited for problems revolving around things like human rights. Sometimes there are certain policies that are good for human rights and democracy but are not that good for the majority of population such as increasing taxes for welfare programs which is generally disliked by the people who have to pay for taxes.

Ethics of justice are best used in cases that involve things like criminal activity. Criminals for example commit crimes usually due to emotional reasons and bad social background, but approaching it with care morals would not work well in punishing the criminal or protecting the people who were assaulted or similar things.
