Women have always been payed less than men. In 2018 Business Insider published an article that stated:

“In 2018, a woman working full time earned 81.6 cents for every dollar a man working full time earned on average. Additionally, women's median annual earnings were $9,766 less than men's, according to the most recent available data from the US Census Bureau.”

Past:
In the past black people weren’t even allowed to drink out of the same water fountains as white people. They were denied jobs, loans, and many others things that white people could get easily just because of the color of their skin.
