Along with President Washington, voters elected a large number of supporters of the Constitution. In fact, almost half of the ninety-one members of the first Congress had helped to write or ratify the Constitution.

Not surprisingly, given Anti-Federalists' opposition to the strong new central government, only eight opponents of the Constitution were sent to the House of Representatives. Most Anti-Federalists concentrated their efforts in state politics.

Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

D. Judicial Activism

Explanation:

Judicial Activism is the judicial philosophy that argues the Court should go beyond the words of the Constitution or a statue to consider the broader societal implications of its decisions.

It is the opposite of Judicial Restraint, as a judicial philosophy theory, which limits the power of judges to act only as per existing legal provisions under constitution.

Why do people all over the world vote on and debate which structures are the greatest?
Oksana_A [137]
I think this could be a psychological phenomenon: people look for some symbols common to humanity, that would represent humanity as a whole.
The ancient Seven Wonders were a reminder of how far humanity has come and something that all the people who referred to them had a common: a wonder at how magnificent these structures were.

Gibbons v. Ogden is the first of many cases that has sought to define the role of Congress in regulating commerce, and the degree to which the federal government can use the Commerce Clause to legislate business practices.

The decision in Fletcher v. Peck expanded the parameters of judicial review, as it marked the first time the Supreme Court struck down a state law as unconstitutional.
