Chola had a great contribution to art and architecture.

Chola Empire was divided into three major administrative i.e. Central Government, Provincial government and local government. This division was done in order to make easiness in the government. Chola had a great contribution to art and architecture by building temples in South India. The Cholas were great patrons of art, during their reign, the most magnificent temples and exquisite bronze icons were built in South India. Siva Temple of Thanjore which is the largest and tallest Indian temple was built in Chola Period.

Geography of China affected the development of the early civilization affect China greatly because "where it was located." China built on mountains and hills which greatly impacted them geography. Being in different locations giving you benefits for example better soil, more water, and harder for enemies to attack because being up a moutain they would have to climb in order to get too you. Some locations also didn't have good benefits for example harsher weather and not being able to get to other places but many benefits defensive, and agriculture wise.

Abraham Lincoln did not get rid of slaves. We technically have slaves instead we pay people to do our work.

He also did not modernize the economy he just made the government produce more of it.

The answer is reason.  Philosophers of the Enlightenment believed that answer can be found through reasoning.  There were two types of reasoning during that time.  You have rationalism that relies on deduction and Empiricism which deals with experience. It took root due to the liberal atmosphere at the time.
