so toal cost=28 right?

total cost=total cost of water+total cost of tickets
water=3
subsitute 28=total cost and 3=total cost of water

28=3+total cost of tickets
remember we can do anything to an equaton as long as you do it to both sides

28=3+total cost of tickets
subtract 3 from both sides
28-3=3-3+total cost of tickets
25=0+cost of tickets
25=cost of tickets

if he bought 5 tickets, how much does each cost
25=5tickets
divide both sides by 5
25/5=5/5tickets
5=1tickets

answer is 1 ticket cost $5.00

equation is
total cost=water+tickets
28=3+5tickets

Which of the following tables represents a function?
Contact [7]

Answer:

x 2-2 3-3

y 5 5  7 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Each domain, or x value, can only be matched with one y value, so given this, the third one is the answer since every domain is only matched with one range, or in other words, there are no repeating domains in on the x row of the table.

disa [49]

Answer:

x=2.4

Step-by-step explanation

Lets take the info already given. 20 is on the larger triangle and 8 is on the smaller. So the side that matches with X is 6. The relationship between 20 and 8 is 2.5. How? 20/8=2.5. then you divide 6 by 2.5. That equals 2.4. So x=2.4. Hope that helps !
