Answer:

t = (m / g) * p

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we are given a variable for every part of the equation that we need we can go ahead and create the following equation where t equals the total cost

t = (m / g) * p

In this equation, we need to first divide the total number of miles by the number of miles that the car gets per gallon. This would give us the total number of gallons that the car would use during the entire trip. We then multiply the number of gallons by the price per gallon to get the final cost of the entire trip.

DaniilM [7]
Let
x = the number of shorts bought
y =  the number of t-shirts bought

A pair of shorts costs $16 and a t-shirt costs $10. Brandom has $100 to spend.
Therefore
16x + 10y ≤ 100
This may be written as
y ≤ - 1.6x + 10                 (1)

Brandon wants at least 2 pairs of shorts. Therefore
x ≥ 2                               (2)

Graph the equations y = -1.6x + 10 and  x = 2.
The shaded region satisfies both inequalities.

Answer:
Two possible solutions are
(a) 3 pairs of shorts and 4 t-shirts,
(b) 4 pairs of shorts and 2 t-shirts.

What is the slope of this line?
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

y= 2x

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope is 2

The y-intercept is zero because it intersects the origin so you do not need to right that.

Now just put it is slope-intercept form.

Hope you remember me because I just answered your other question 2 minutes ago! LOL :D

Can you please name me the brainiest in both of those answers. Thanks!

mixer [17]

Quadratic Formula is (-b ±√(b²-4ac))/2a

With that being said:

y=2x²-5x-1 is in the correct form of ax²+bx+c

Now just plug in:

5±√(25-4(2 x-1))

5± √25+8

(5±√33)/2(2)

Answer is D
