There are 28 responses recorded.
There were 24 students polled.
The answers to these two questions are different because students could possibly be interested in more than one sport.

Answer with explanation:

We are given a line plot that denotes the responses of the number of students who have participated in different sports.

We can make a table of these line plots as:

              Sport Number of Students

           Football 4

           Soccer 8

           Baseball 7

           Basketball 5

          Track and field 4

Hence, total number of responses=4+8+7+5+4=28

A)

The total number of total responses that are represented in the line plot are:

28.

Since, the number of dots or crosses that are represented in the line plot.

B)

The total number of students that are polled are : 24

C)

The answers in two part i.e. part A) and Part B) are different since one student may participate in more than one game as there is no condition that one student can participate in just one sports.

It's exponential decay when the base value is < 1. Example:

0.9ˣ, 0.45ˣ, (1/2)ˣ, 0.79ˣ, .999ˣ

It's neither when the base value = 1. Example:
