Why did Soviet ships turn back on their way to Cuba?
liraira [26]
The Soviet Union turned back their ships on their way to Cuba due to a naval blockade set up by the United States.

This blockade by the United States was done after they found out that the Soviet Union had missiles in Cuba that could hit almost every American city. The US government was worried that the Soviet Union would continue to bring in weapons as a means to prepare for war. To stop this from happening, the US Navy set up a blockade which would prevent the Soviet Union from getting any more weapons into Cuba.

Answer:

The (Catholic) Counter Reformation effected the Reformation because it brought more people to the Catholic Church as a result of the Catholic Churches answer to the many people that were converting from Christianity to Protestantism. The main person who was mad and confronting the Church was Martin Luther. He was the person to write the 95 thesis and post them on the doors of a church to let people know that the Church was doing wrong things.
