                                      = \frac{22}{7} x 1 x 4

                                      = 12.5714

volume of each candle = 12.6 cube inches.

Therefore, for the three candles;

volume of the three candles = 3 x 12.5714

                                                = 37.7142

volume of the three candles = 37.7142 cube inches

The amount of wax required for the three candles is approximately 38 cube inches.
