The Black Death was a disease. And was spread when packages were sent from Japan to the USA. And from there spread to airports and travel rings.

The Black Death, or Bubonic Plague, was the most devastating plague recorded in human history, and resulted in a death toll of more than 75million people in Eurasia and North Africa. It was a result of a bacteria called Yerisinia pestis, that was spread by fleas carried on animals like rats, squirrels, and mice. It would be transmitted when the fleas picked up these germs from infected animals and spread to the next person or animal bitten.
