1) PEMDAS: 12 * 5 + 6 / 6

12 * 5 = 60

60 + 6 / 6

6 / 6 = 1

10) Combing Like Terms: 5x + 7y - 8y^2 + 2x - y

5x + 2x = 7x

7x + 7y - 8y^2 - y

-y + 7y = 6y

Answer: -8y^2 + 7x + 6y
