Unit price = total price /  total quantity:

Main street Market:

Oranges: 3.00 / 5 = 0.60 per pound

Apples: 3.99 / 3 = 1.33 per pound

Off Street Market:

Oranges: 2.59 / 4 = 0.6475 per pound

Apples: 1.98 / 2 = 0.99 per pound

The lower the price per pound the better buy:

Oranges = Main Street Market

Apples = Off Street Market

Consider the characteristics of the graph. Which statement DOES NOT describe the data set?
serg [7]
A, the interquartile range is 10, does not fit.

The interquartile range is found by subtracting the upper quartile and the lower quartile; in a box-and-whisker plot these are the outer edges of the box.  In this case, they are 40 and 20; 40-20 = 20, not 10.

The cost price of 18 sweaters is Rs425 per sweater and the total gain of the shopkeeper is Rs 6,750 1 find the sale price of eac
Nostrana [21]

Answer:

1. Sales price per sweater= Rs 800

2. percentage = 46.875% = 46.88%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

Cost price = Rs425 per sweater

Number of sweaters = 18

Total gain = Rs 6,750

Total cost price = cost price × number of sweaters

Total cost price = 18 × Rs425 = Rs 7,650

Total sales price = total gain + total cost price

Total sales price = Rs 6,750 + Rs 7,650

Total sales price = Rs 14,400

Sales price (per sweater) = Rs 14,400/18 = Rs 800 per sweater

Profit percentage = total gain/total sales price × 100%

Profit percentage = Rs 6,750/Rs 14,400 × 100%

Profit percentage = 46.875% = 46.88%

Answer:

Noah had 8 cookies left over after the bake sale

Step-by-step explanation:

64 multiplied by 1.25 (or 125%) gives you 80 cookies

then you multiply 80 by .90 (or 90%) and you get 72 which means he sold 72 cookies

80-72 gives you 8 cookies

Noah had 8 cookies left over after the bake sale

Two trapezoids have areas 54 cm2 and 24 cm2. Find their ratio of similarity.
malfutka [58]
\bigg(  \dfrac{Length_1}{Length_2} \bigg)^ 2 =  \dfrac{Area_1}{Area_2}

\bigg(  \dfrac{Length_1}{Length_2 }\bigg )^ 2 =  \dfrac{54}{24}

\dfrac{Length_1}{Length_2}  =  \sqrt{\dfrac{54}{24} }

\dfrac{Length_1}{Length_2}  =  \sqrt{\dfrac{9}{4} }

\dfrac{Length_1}{Length_2}  =  \dfrac{3}{2}

\text {Ratio of similarity of the two trapeziums =} 3 : 2
