Answer:

Two global patterns that we can infer from any global climate map:

1. Tropical regions tend to have a wet, warm climate all year round, except for a few areas that are either mountainous, or that are subject to specific climate phenomena, like the Humboldt Current, which makes the Peruvian coast dry, milder and desertic than it would otherwise be.

2. Boreal regions have mostly a taiga climate, where pine forests are common, and a small strip of tundra climate in the northermost regions, where the treeline disappears, and where most of the vegetation are shrubs.

If you were to take a trip during the summer from ohio to nevada, you would most likely observe that afternoon cumulus clouds __
likoan [24]

You would most likely observe that afternoon cumulus clouds have higher cloud bases as you travel west.

Clouds with flat bottoms known as cumulus are frequently referred to as "puffy," "cotton-like," or "fluffy" due to their appearance. Their name comes from the Latin word cumulo, which means a mass or mound.

Unless they are the highly vertical cumulus congestus variety, cumulus clouds are low-level clouds that are typically less than 2,000 m (6,600 ft) in altitude. Cumulus clouds can appear singly, in groups, or in lines.

Ralph went to a party over the weekend. Excited to share stories of his antics at the party with his friend Sarah, he invites he
Katarina [22]

Answer:

b. context

Explanation:

In communication, the term context refers to the environment (physical) and the framework where communication takes place. In other words, it refers to the setting, the people that are around us and the place we are when we are communicating. Depending on the context we're in, our style will be different (phrasing, use of words, volume, etc).

In this example, Ralph was in a party and he was telling about it to his friend Sarah in a loud tone. However, when his mother enters the room, he changes his loud tone and stops using profanity. We can see that there was a change in the environment where the communication was taking place when his mother entered the room and that change affected his style of talking to his friend. Therefore, Ralph would be reacting to a change in context.
