The light micrograph shows dividing cells near the tip of an onion root. Identify a cell in each of the following stages: propha
ad-work [718]

Mitotic division in onion root cells:

 1. Prophase: the emergence of chromatin threads that form chromosomes, the chromosomes are visible and overlap.
 2. Metaphase: chromosomes line up and line up in the middle of the equatorial plane. The centromere of the chromosome appears to have bonds with the kinetochores connected to the spindle threads.
 3. Anaphase: the centromere of the chromosome undergoes division then the chromosomes are pulled by the spindle threads towards the two opposite poles and leave the center of the equator that looks empty.
 4. Telophase: The cytoplasm divides into two identical-looking daughter cells. At the telophase stage, the process of cell division occurs in two parts and has identical properties.

Mitosis is a cell division through the stages of prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. The purpose of mitosis is for growth and regeneration which results in two daughter cells that are identical to the original parent cell. Mitosis occurs only once and lasts only during somatization.

Ugo [173]

Some bones develop within sheet like layers of connective tissue which are called intramembranous bones whereas the bones that are develop from a model of hyaline cartilage and are called endochondral bones.

Formation of intramembranous bones and endochondral bones

Endochondral ossification involves the replacement of hyaline cartilage with bony tissue which leads to the formation of endochondral bones whereas, intramembranous ossification refers to the replacement of sheet-like connective tissue membranes with bony tissue which results in the formation of intramembranous bones.

Birdsongs are both innate and learned. however, young birds must hear an adult male sing the species song. why?
fenix001 [56]
The reason for that is the song gets imprinted on the young birds. Have in mind that birds rised alone will sing but the local pattern will not influence the singing of that bird. So if the birds listen an adult male sing they will help the young ones to get their singing as they will serve as the closest reference. Still have in mind that young birds that are alone can also sing but in a different way, not the one proposed by the environment.
