Answer:

To gain funds is the correct answer.

Explanation:

In China, salt and iron were produced by private industry, but emperor Wu established government monopoly in their trade. He started government monopoly in grain trade to raise funds. An agency was set up for this,  whose purpose was to gain profit for the government and discouraging private trade. Excise taxes were imposed on liquor too. During those times the government distrusted private markets and their profits. Emperor Wu died in 87 BC.

In a paragraph explain why there were growing tensions between the romans and the early christians
vladimir1956 [14]
ANSWER: Romans and Early Christians had growing tensions for multiple reasons, but mainly for religious purposes (duh). Christians threatened Roman beliefs as they became vast in Roman territory an began to control the population. The Romans did not like this, and began to execute anyone who was Christian, even extending the religion to be illegal.

-Despite the harsh conditions, Christians were still able to find their way of spreading and growing throughout all of Rome, lololol

-ironically because if the illegalization of Christianity, Their boi Jesus helped.

Hope this Helps!
