How did home rule affect the lives of the white people in the South?

History

Answer:

The Home Rule was the period after Reconstruction, when the governments of the southern states of the country were reconstituted according to the popular will of their inhabitants, when until 1877 they were directly appointed by the federal government.

Thus, state governments began to establish measures designed to limit the civil and political liberties of African Americans, guaranteeing only whites access to all of their rights. Thus, Home Rule put conservative white Democrats back in a role of social superiority over the rest of the inhabitants of the southern states.

All she knew was that presently a wave seemed to lift them and carry them swiftly on and then, retreating, leave them on something solid and motionless. They had made land; they were safe from the sea, but they were still in the chest with no way to get out.

Why is it difficult for the public to accurately make judgments about efficiency and waste in bureaucracies given the political
aksik [14]

t is difficult for the public due to red tapism and the fact that the leaders are good at hiding facts.

Explanation:

Red tapism is one of the things that have led many bureaucrats to simply cover up the traces of their questionable deeds in tucked away files that are only revealed after 30 or 40 years.

This makes it difficult for the public to assess them in terms of the information they have as the information that reaches is generally inaccurate and incomplete.

It also has to do with the fact that politicians are constantly trying to save face through PR and also other shady tactics that muddy up the image more.
