We start with converting gallons to liters. There are 3.785 liters in a gallon, so Sally consumed 9.4625 liters in that day. Multiplying that by 1,000 milliliters in a liter gives us 9,462.5 milliliters. Sally consumed 9462.5 milliliters in that day. Hope this helps!<span />

In an 18-meter race between a tortoise and a hare, the tortoise leaves 23 minutes before the hare. The hare, by running at an av
seropon [69]
We know that:
time=distance/speed
if the tortoise speed is x m/min, then since 0.5 m/hr=1/120 m/min
18/x=23+18/(x+1/120)
solving for x we get:
x=0.08 m/min
speed of hare is:
(0.08+1/120)=0.088 m/min

marshall27 [118]

Answer:

No Problem, I know That I personally can't stand it when people just give me the number. So another way to think of this problem is "How many 2/3 are in 3 cups." So try drawing 3 rectangles to represent 3 cups and then draw two lines inside those rectangles so that there are 3 rectangles inside each one and then shade in two of the smaller rectangles in a way that you can tell them all apart preferably different colors and then just count them.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope this is enough to help you understand it, if not then feel free to ask for more info in the comments. :)
