Alona [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

Low involvement. The major reason for the advertisement is not so that there will be high involvement buyer, with information about the product (beer) to be produced deeply to form strong attitudes, but the advertisement is basically for entertainment and also so that good feeling can be associated about the advert and product (beer). In fact the major disadvantage about the use of humour in advert is that people can remember the advert and forget the brand or product been advertised.

You and your college roommate eat three packages of Ramen noodles each week. After graduation last month, both of you were hired
inn [45]

Answer:

The answer to this question is b. Yours will be positive and your roommate's would be negative.

Explanation:

Income elasticity of demand is the degree of responsiveness of demand to changes in income. In other words, it measures how changes in income of consumers will affect the quantity of commodities demanded by such consumers.

An income elasticity of demand can be positive or negative.

It is positive, when an increase in income leads to an increase in the quantity demanded by the customer. However it is referred to as negative when an increase in income leads to decrease in the quantity demanded by the consumer.

In  the question above, it can be seen that the increase in income of the first person brought about increase in the commodity demanded thereby making his income elasticity of demand positive. one the other hand, the increase in the income of his roommate, brought about decrease in his demand which translate to the fact that his income elasticity of demand would be negative.

Hence the answer given.

A review of Volkswagen's internal memos and emails suggests that company executives pursued a strategy of delay and obfuscation
oee [108]

Answer:

true

Explanation:

The whole Volkswagen scandal was a huge and elaborate corporate scam. They first tried to blame engineers in their North American division, but then it was known that they cheated in Germany and other European countries, as well as in factories in Argentina and Brazil. The only place that they were not investigated was in China, and that is very suspicious because half of their cars are produced and sold in China. It was a huge cover up operation that was aimed at protecting top executives in Germany.

The first car I bought with my salary was a Jetta (it was much cheaper than a Civic). So I read a lot about the scandal and its effects were not that large in North and South America, but in Europe the allegedly clean diesel engines drove their competition out of the market. French car manufacturers Citroen and Peugeot competed against Volkswagen with diesel cars and after not being able to compete against the wonderful new engines, they went bankrupt. In Europe gas is very expensive, so cars are very small and fuel efficient. The strange coincidence is that a Chinese company bought Citroen and Peugeot, which made them the real winners of the whole situation.
