Since both angles are equal to each set the equations equal to each other.
X+35=3x+1
1. Subtract 1 from both sides. Gives you = x+34=3x
2. Subtract 1x from both sides. Gives you 34=2x
3. Divide 2 on both sides, gives you 17=x.
4. Answer is 17=x.

Ryan throws a baseball upward with an initial velocity of 12 m/s from a height of 2m above the ground. How long will it take for
Sonja [21]

Answer:

It will take 2.6 s for the ball to hit the ground.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a standard physics problem

The equation that defines the movement of Ryans baseball is given by the initial velocity, and the acceleration

Distance =  Do + Vo*t + 0.5*a*t^2

Where

Do is the initial distance.

(Do = 2m over the ground)

Vo is the initial velocity = 12m/s

a is the acceleration that is exerted on the body (in this case a = g = -9.8 m/s^2 )

t is the time

We substitute in the equation, and solve for t (time)

(0)=  2+ (12)*t + 0.5*(-9.8)*t^2

We get that

t = 2.606 s  = 2.6 s
