3000>_ 2x+1y

That is the greater than or equal to btw
So the need at least 3000 so that can raise more which is why it’s greater than or equal to. But it’s 2x because hotdogs are the x and they are being sold for two dollars each same with the y as it equals the soda which is being sold for one dollar

Are 1/2-(-2+3/4) and (2-3/4)+1/2 equivalent to eachother?
maria [59]

No, this is because you are subtracting 1/2 in one and adding 1/2 in the other. This will cause two different outcomes

Question 1
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answers:

y = 7 when x = 1

y = 10 when x = 2

y = 13 when x = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this, we plug in the given values for x, 1, 2, and 3.

Scenario 1. What is y when x is 1?

y = 3x + 4

y = 3(1) + 4

y = 3 + 4

y = 7

Scenario 2: What is y when x is 2?

y = 3x + 4

y = 3(2) + 4

y = 6 + 4

y = 10

Scenario 3: What is y when x is 3?

y = 3x + 4

y = 3(3) + 4

y = 9 + 4

y = 13

Interesting pattern: y appears to be 3 times x

In other words: as x increases by 1, y will increase by 3. The slope of this line is y/x or 3/1 or simply, 3.
