Answer:

In response to “A lesson from Hurricane Andrew” (Sept. 3 Viewpoints):

Leonard Pitts’s column was spot on. We went through Hurricanes Jeanne and Frances in Stuart, Florida, in 2004. We lost our roof and had no power for three weeks. In a disaster like this, you really find out who your friends are – and aren’t. People came out of the woodwork to help, some that really surprised me. Others that I thought of as friends never showed up or called. Black, white, Muslim, Christian – shouldn’t matter when people need help.

Because they knew that Germans could sink any ship they want. They could sink civilian ships. Write write an example problem for this following rule this explain why this project is less than every number when you multiply
trasher [3.6K]
Whenever, we multiply a number with a fraction which is less than 1, the answer must be smaller than the number itself.
It is because, number which is smaller than 1 can be like: 1/2 or 1/3 etc, here you can see lower number (denominator) is greater, it will divide our original number, so if it will be greater, our number will be smaller.

Example. - 5 * 1/2 = 2.5
Here, 2.5 is smaller than 5. & it is 2 times, 'cause 2 was our denominator !!!

Hope this helps!
