Note that we had to change percentage to decimal number dividing it by 100.

Since this is a function, it can also be written as:

f(x) = 760 + 0.075x

3. Domain of a function is, basically, set of all values of x for which the function can work. That practically means that, since x is weekly sale, it can not be negative (one cannot make -$500 sale, for example). However, it is possible that she doesn't make a sale one week, making it possible for x to be 0. Also, the value of her sales doesn't have to be integer (it is quite possible that she makes $673.50 sale).

All this means that appropriate domain for this function are positive real numbers including 0.

You can just plug in one of the points to each equation until you get an equality that is true.

I chose to use (-3,2)

1. 5x+3y=1
5(-3)+3(2)=1
(-15)+ 6 = 1
(-9) = 1 <<<(FALSE)

2. x+5y=3
(-3)+5(2)= 3
(-3)+10= 3
7=3 <<<(FALSE)

3. 3x+5y=1
3(-3) + 5(2)= 1
(-9)+10=1
1=1<<<(TRUE)

So, the correct equation is 3x+5y=1.

Answer:

For your first problem you want to see what all the sides would equal

You would have to combine them all into one big equation

5x-7+3x+1+4x=30 (now you want to combine like terms)

12x-7+1=30 (combined the x's together)

12x-6=30 (added -7 and 1)

12x=36 (added 6 to each side)

x=3 (divided 12 to each side)

Now you wanna plug 4 in for x for each side to find out the largest to smallest

AB=5(3)-7= 8

BC=3(3)+1= 10

AC=4(3)= 12

So in order from smallest to largest would be angle C, B, A because

Angle C is the smallest angle because the sides AC and BC are the longest so they form the smallest angle

Then it would be angle A being the largest because the smallest sides in length AB and BC make up the biggest angle

The next problem would be that in order for it to have to be a triangle the two smallest sides needs to add up higher than the third side so

11, 11, 24, 11+11=22, which is less than 24 so not this one

18,12,9, 9+12=21 which is greater that 18 so this one would be a triangle

9,10,19, 9+10=19 which 19 isn't greater than 19 so this one is not a triangle

4,7,23, 4+7=11 which is less than 23, so this one is also not a triangle

So your answer would be 18cm,12cm,9cm

Gina 11 = a+b+c
Sam 27 = 2a+3b+2c
Robby 19= a+2b+2c

Gina *2 give 22=2a+2b+2c (subtract this from Sam to give)

[equation a] d + c + t = 11
[equation b] 2d + 3c + 2t = 27
[equation c] d + 2c + 2t = 19

if we subtract [a] from [c] we get:

if we subtract [c]*2 from [b] we get:
[equation e] -c - 2t = -11 or
[equation e] c + 2t = 11

Now we can subtract [e] from [d] to solve for t:
t = 3

Now put in 3 for t in [d] or [e] to solve for c:
c + 2(3) = 11
c + 6 = 11
c = 5

So she rented 5 comedies and 3 documentaries which leaves 3 dramas (which is answer A)
