Answer:

y ≤ -2x - 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope- intercept form is <em>y = mx + b</em>, <em>m</em> being the slope and <em>b</em> being the y-intercept.

The slope is the rise of the line over the run. We can choose two points that are exactly on the line. Let's try points (-1, 0) and (0, -2). The line slopes down, so we already know the slope is negative. From point (-1, 0), the line goes down 2 units and over 1 unit. So, the slope is -\frac{2}{1}. We can also simply say that the slope is -2.

The line intersects with the y-axis at point (0, -2), so the y-intercept is -2.

Because the shading is on the left side of the line and the line is solid, we can tell that y is <em>less than or equal to</em> -2x - 2. So, the equation is-

y ≤ -2x - 2

a)  the Probability p( red, red, red) is 0.83%.

b) the probability p(white, red, white) is 0.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

The total number of marbles = 3+6+1.

                                                =10.

a) to find the Probability p( red, red, red).

p( red, red, red)= \frac{3C_{3} }{10C_{3}}.

p( red, red, red)=\frac{3}{10}×\frac{2}{9}×\frac{1}{8}.

p(red,red,red)= 0.0083.

p(red,red,red)=0.83%

b)to find the probability p(white, red, white).

p(white, red, white) is 0.

Since there is only one white.

Someone help me with all of this
Gre4nikov [31]
I’m working on the same thing in school! For number 2, what i would do is start by setting up the scatter plot by using the X and Y table and create origins to place on the graph. ( ex. (1,30) for your first one ). Also, remember to write in the laps completed and calories burned. Next, estimate a line that meets as many points as possible. ( I would use the completed scatter plot in number 3 for an example for how to draw the line ). And that’s all I can help you with :( I forgot how to do the equation part because I just started with this on Monday. Hope this helps!
