What is the area of a triangle with a base of 2.4 cm and a height of 0.8 cm?
Andrej [43]
The easiest way to find the area of a triangle is by doing 1/2 base x height. So halve the base, 2.4 / 2 = 1.2. Now do 1.2 x 0.8. Which equals 0.96.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

5.) y = 170t

6.) By finding the common rates (slope) (rise over run or y/x)

7a.) Car two isn't going at the constant speed

7b.) They relate by they would still carry the same factors 40mph(from car#2), and 80mph (from car #4) have a common factor of 40 and 35mph (from car #2) and 70mph (from car #4) would have a common factor of 35)

Step-by-step explanation:

(for #5) "t" would mean time as in for hours and the 170 is considered as "m" in the equation of (y=mt+b) and there isn't a starting point of when the bullet trained have already drove (which would have been the number for "b")

So your equation for this would have been y=170t

(For #6) in order for the table or the relationship to be proportional, there must be a constant slope, so the equation would be (when doing it algebraically)

\frac{x_{2} -x_{1} }{y_{2} -y_{1} } or there is a constant adding (like for example in car 3, the y sections would add by 20 not multiply)

( Or when looking at the table)

for every pair, when you \frac{y}{x} for every pair, it should led you to the same number

so in car 2, everything had the constant speed of 35mph except when dividing \frac{y}{x} for 800/20, it gave us 40mph instead of 800

(For #7a) same thing for #6 but i was using the question from 7a to explain the explanation for #6

(For #7b) (I hope it was easy to understand on what I was talking about)

(Helper's note: I hope it was easy to understand, I tried my best to explain with words [as you can see not good at explaining in words but in numbers haha] )

Please help I really need to finish this up and bring my grade up please!!!!!!
kirza4 [7]

On the top it says 6x. That means 6 multiplied by x. So under you can see x is 6, -3, -4, and so on. Just multiply 6 to it and put it on the right side. Do the same thing to the rest but with the different values provided.

Elza [17]
Hey there,

Your question states: <span>Four points are always coplanar if . . .

Your correct answer from the questions above would be </span>they lie in the same place

The definition of the word \boxed{coplanar} means : In the same place.

So . .Four points are always coplanar if <span>they lie in the same place.

Hope this helps many.
