Answer:

x column- 1.25, 7.5, 45.

y column- 5, 30, 180.

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay, to start off, we need to find how 1.25 got to 5. If we divide it, we get 4. So we go to 7.5 and multiply it by 4, since that seems to be the relationship between x and y. 7.5x4=30, which is an answer. So the second spot in the y column is where 30 goes. Now we figure out the relationship between the two numbers in the x column so we can figure out the missing one. When you divide 7.5 by 1.25, you get 6. So, if 1.25x6 makes the next number in the x column, 7.5x6 should make the missing number. 7.5x6 is 45, so the missing number in the x column is 45. Now we go back and multiply 45 by 4, which gets us 180.

How you know a fraction is less than 1/2
nikitadnepr [17]

The fraction will continue to be the same numerator "1". However the denominator will be a greater number. Such as 4. Then you will know it is broken into more peices (as being a greater number). These pieces will automatically be a smaller fraction.

So, in order to know if a fraction is less then 1/2, it will have a greater denominator.

hope this helps :)

Use the spinner to find each probability. If the spinner lands on a line it is spun again.
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

110 / 3.6 = 30.555

Chance for yellow is about 31%

Orange is 70/3.6= 19.4444444

Orange is about 19%

Red is 40/3.6=11.11

Red is about 11

We divide by 3.6 because 360 degrees /100 percent = 3.6

The decimals are repeating so it is infinite decimal places

Yellow is about 31% (30.555555 for exact)

Orange is 19%(19.4444444 for exact)

Red is 11%(11.11111 for exact)
