Answer:

Who possesses the leadership role on the farm? How do they come to power? Though Old Major and Snowball showed promising leader roles in the beginning of the story it was Napoleon who rose to power as the leader of the farm. He didn’t earn this position as he took it by force. How? Napoleon didn’t fully take over as leader until the sudden death of snowball. He manipulated and used propaganda to take and maintain control of the farm. In chapter 6 of Animal Farm, you can see how the attack on snowball was planned by Napoleon. However the rest of the animals seem to be unaware of that. It states in the story that “  They(the dogs) kept close to Napoleon. It was noticed that they wagged their tails to him in the same way as the other dogs had been used to do to Mr. Jones.” showing that Napoleon had control over the dogs and with clear motive to get rid of snowball, showing here in the text “...if it had not been for the disputes between Snowball and Napoleon. These two disagreed at every point where disagreement was possible.”

What is the difference between a hard g and a soft g? Also would the word nougat qualify as a soft g or a hard g?
Stolb23 [73]

Answer: A hard g makes a "guh" kind of sound. A soft g makes a sound like a j ("juh"). A soft g is followed by an "e", an "i", or a "y". Nougat has a hard g.

Explanation: The g in nougat makes a guh sound, not a juh sound, so it's a hard g. The g also doesn't have an "e", "i", or "y" right after it to make it soft.
