I have a swollen finger that has one side that has already gone down. The other side is still red. What's wrong with it? How do I treat it?

Keep your finger elevated above chest level.

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) to ease any discomfort.

Apply ice for about 20 min and or soak in cold water and if that doesn’t help, go to a doctor :(
