Theoretically speaking, for a scientist to determain weather an unknown substance is set out to be an element, compound, solution, or heterogenous mixture is they would have to look at the substances properties, and appearance, using this will allow the scientist to outlook what it shall be.

Help please answer fast!!!
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

A graph not only depends on the data that we are graphing, there are other important factors such as the units we use (here we have °C vs years, but we could have °F vs days and we would see a different graph, which represents the exact same information) , the scale we use (a lot of graphs are misleading because of the use of logarithmic scales, we need to be clear about the scales we use), where we put the zero of each axis (We usually use the intersection of both axes as the (0, 0) point, but this is not a necessary condition, we could manipulate our coordinate axis as we want) , etc.

So there are a lot of things that can impact on how we see the graph of the same data.

About the second answer, one could interpret from that graph that the actual temperature between the years 1880 and 2020 was around 14°C.

A student placed a aquatic plant called Elodea in some distilled (100%) water. What happened in the cells of the plant
Roman55 [17]

After putting distilled water in Elodea, the cells of Elodea represent a hypotonic solution, yet the cells do not burst because of the cell wall.

What is a hypotonic solution?

A solution that contains fewer dissolved particles than exists found in normal cells and blood. In this solution the cells obtain swell.

A hypotonic solution contains a lower concentration of solutes than another solution. In biology, a solution outside of a cell exists named hypotonic if it contains a lower concentration of solutes relative to the cytosol. Due to osmotic pressure, water diffuses into the cell, and the cell often seems turgid, or excessive.

The Chloroplast exists spread throughout the cell both before the salt solution, and after the distilled water exists put on the slide. Distilled water symbolizes a hypotonic solution, yet the cells do not demolished because of the cell wall.

What is the difference between cell and organelle?
asambeis [7]

Answer:

An organelle (think of it as a cell's internal organ) is a membrane bound structure found within a cell. Just like cells have membranes to hold everything in, these mini-organs are also bound in a double layer of phospholipids to insulate their little compartments within the larger cells.
