John goes shopping one fine Saturday afternoon, there is blizzard raging so he hopes that no one will be out shopping, and he wa

s right. In fact, there were a lot of sales going on just because there was no one there to buy anything. The first place that John goes is to the drug store where he purchases a bottle of pain reliever, some bandaids, and a pack gum. The next he heads to the electronics store to find a computer that he has really wanted. He buys an even better model than what he hoped he could find at a great price. The final place that he went is to the hardware store where he purchases a snowblower and some rock salt to spread on his sidewalk. Content with his decision he heads home and lays down in front of the fire where he really wanted to be all day. Based on the story, which statement is false.

Answer:

The claim that there were too many sales being made just because there were no people buying is false.

Explanation:

Sales are stimulated by the number of people who are buying the products. This is determined by the relationship of demand and supply that determines that if there are many people buying, there is a great demand for products and this causes sales to be stimulated, until the products run out. If there are few people buying, the demand will decrease and this will cause sales to be discouraged. In this case, if there are a lot of sales in John's city, it is because there are many people buying and not the other way around.

Usually, people that don't recognize that they have an attitude problem tend to respond in this way.
