As others have said, 8 seconds to get to 90% of terminal velocity. But if you're falling from outer space, you could reach speeds much higher than terminal velocity, and slow down when you reach the atmosphere. If coming in from a long distance, you'll burn up like a meteorite.

An antiproton is identical to a proton except it has the opposite charge, −e. To study antiprotons, they must be confined in a
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

Explanation:

We know that, the force responsible for circulating in circular path is the centripetal force given by the force on charged particle due to magnetic field.

Here the charge is antiproton is

p = -1.6 * 10⁻¹⁹C

the speed of proton is given by 1.5 * 10 ⁴ m/s

the magnetic field is B = 4.5 * 10⁻³T

we have force due to magnetic field is equal to centripetal force

Bqv = mv² / r

Bq = mv / r

r = \frac{mv}{Bq} \\\\r=\frac{mv}{Bq} \\\\r=\frac{1.67 \times 10^-^2^7\times 1.5 \times 10^4}{4.5 \times 10^-^3\times 11.6\times 10^-^1^9} \\\\r=347.9\times 10^-^4\\\\r=3.479cm

The diameter d of the vacuum chamber have to allow these antiprotons to circulate without touching the walls is

d = 2r

d = 2 * 3.479

d = 6.958

d ≅ 7cm

A force of 50 n acts on abody of mass 5 kg .calculate the acceleration produced
Leokris [45]

Answer:

a = 10 m/s²

Explanation:

<u><em>Given:</em></u>

Force = F = 50 N

Mass = m = 5 kg

<u><em>Required:</em></u>

Acceleration = a = ?

<u><em>Formula:</em></u>

F = ma

<u><em>Solution:</em></u>

<em>Rearranging the formula for a</em>

=> a = F/m

=> a = 50/5

=> a = 10 m/s²

Which of the following exhibits parabolic motion?
harina [27]
Parabolic Motion<span> of Projectiles. A projectile is an object upon which the only force is gravity. Gravity, being a downward force, causes a projectile to accelerate in the downward direction.

So I would say that the best answer provided is C. a leaf falling from a tree because the downward force of gravity  causes the leaf to accelerate in the downward direction</span>
