I've been looking for you my brother Patrick sit in his bed and waited patiently for me to begin as I have to speech in my right

hand I felt a page crinkle between my fingertips I read my speech Lolly but my brother shook his head disapprovingly he told me I did a sound confident enough with a heavy heart I knew I was in for a long day of practice and write a few lines of dialogue based on his narrative ​

Poets use alliteration to help create mood, rhythm or emphasis. It can also help with memorization. It's important to realize that it's all about sound, not spelling. For example, the letter c can have a hard or soft sound as in cereal and cat. These two words next to each other would not be considered alliteration because they are not the same sound. Examples of alliteration are:

My many monkeys met at the museum.

All the aardvarks already arrived.
