Together, office policies and procedures provide a road map for day-to-day operations. They ensure compliance with laws and regulations, give guidance for decision-making, and streamline internal processes. However, policies and procedures won't do your organization any good if your employees don't follow them. A good example of an office policy, (This goes for pretty much everywhere.) is abiding by HIPAA for the privacy and safety of clients, and staff. Hope this helps!
