Answer:

(-6, -3)

General Formulas and Concepts:

<u>Algebra I</u>

  • Solving systems of equations by graphing

Step-by-step explanation:

Where the 2 lines intersect would be where the solution set to the systems of equations. We see from the graph that our 2 lines intersect at (-6, -3). Therefore, our solution set is (-6, -3).

Given P(1,3) and Q(3,7) what is the slope of PQ
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

hi! you have 2 points! this means slope formula! y2-y1/x2-x1

okay all you do now is plugin! (x1 1,y1 3) (x2 3,y2 7) what I did was label your x1 y1 x2 y2! now just follow the formula and that / is division or basically a fraction

7-3/3-1

that equals -5! and that's your slope! memorize the formula it helpss!

sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

I think its, 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Becaus you take that number and its axcelerated calculation would be 5 in axis square root which is 3 and obviously 3+2 =5 so the wuarterining calculas is 5.

What is the sum of the roots of the polynomial shown below?<br> f(x) = x^3 + 2x^2 - 11x-12
svp [43]

<u>Answer:  </u>

Sum of the roots of the polynomial x^{3}+2 x^{2}-11 x-12 \text { is }-2

<u>Solution:</u>

The general form of cubic polynomial is a x^{3}+b x^{2}+c x+d=0 ---- (1)

If we have any cubic polynomial a x^{3}+b x^{2}+c x+d=0 having roots \alpha , \beta , \theta

Sum of roots \alpha + \beta + \theta = \frac{-b}{a} ---(2)

From question given that,

x^{3}+2 x^{2}-11 x-12 --- (3)

On comparing equation (1) and (3), we get a = 1, b = 2, c = -11 and d = -12

Hence the sum of roots using eqn 2 is given as,

= \frac{-2}{1}

= -2

Hence the sum of the roots of the polynomial x^{3}+2 x^{2}-11 x-12 \text { is }-2

In ABC, the interior angle at A is 51° and the exterior angle at B is 119º. The interior angle at C measures
erastova [34]

Answer:

68 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the interior angle, we use an important triangle principle

The principle is that the sum of the opposite interior angles equal the exterior angle

Let the second interior angle be x

x + 51 = 119

x = 119-51

x = 68
