Answer:

Area = 587877.54 m^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length of sides of the triangle be represented by a, b and c respectively.

a = \frac{5}{18} x 3600

  = 1000

b = \frac{6}{18} x 3600

  = 1200

c = \frac{7}{18} x 3600

  = 1400

The length of the sides of the triangle are: 1000 m , 1200 m, 1400 m.

Perimeter = a + b + c

               = 1000 + 1200 + 1400

               = 3600

The area of the land can be determined by;

Area of a triangle =  \sqrt{(s*(s-a)* (s-b)* (s-c))}

where: s is the semi-perimeter of the triangle and a, b and c are the length of sides respectively.

s = \frac{perimeter}{2}

 = \frac{3600}{2}

s = 1800

Area = \sqrt{(1800(1800 - 1000)*(1800 - 1200)*(1800 - 1400))}

        = \sqrt{(1800*800*600*400)}

        = \sqrt{345600000000}

        = 587877.54

Area = 587877.54 m^{2}

The area of the triangle is 587877.54 m^{2}.

How do you divide (n^2-n-29)/(n-6) ??
Orlov [11]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  see attached

Step-by-step explanation:

Polynomial long division is done the way any long division is done. Find a "partial quotient", subtract from the dividend the product of that partial quotient and the divisor. The result is a new dividend. Repeat until the degree of the dividend is less than that of the divisor.

__

In the attached, the "Hints" show you how the partial quotient is found, and they show you how the product of the partial quotient and divisor is found.

The partial quotient term is simply the ratio of the highest degree terms of dividend and divisor. (Unlike numerical long division, there is no guessing.)

__

The remainder is the dividend of lower degree than the divisor. As in numerical long division, the full quotient expresses the remainder over the divisor.

For example, 5 ÷ 3 = 1 r 2 = 1 + 2/3.

Your full quotient is (n+5) +1/(n-6).

ehidna [41]

Answer:

The correct answer is 144.

Step-by-step explanation:

The librarian noticed that 60% of total seventh graders checked out fantasy books from the library.

Total number of seventh graders is given to be 240.

Number of seventh grade students who checked out fantasy books = 60% of 240 = 0.6 × 240 = 144.

Thus out of 240 seventh graders 144 of them would check out  a fantasy book from the library.
