Answer:

The value of f(x) at x=6 is f(6) = 218

Therefore, the correct option is D) 218

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to solve the value of f(x) at x=6

Given step function is f(x)=6x^{2}+2 for the range of -6 < x < 9

( 6 is in this range)

Substitute the value x=6 in f(x)=6x^{2}+2 :

f(x) = 6x^{2} + 2

f(6) = 6(6)^{2} + 2

f(6) = 6\times 36+ 2

f(6) = 216+ 2

f(6) = 218

Hence, the value of f(x) at x=6 is f(6) = 218

Therefore, the correct option is D) 218

After trying to do it the hard way, i remembered the easy way.

substitution:

because x = 6 and 6 is in the range of -6 < x < 9, we only need the equation 6x^(2) + 2

f(x) = 6x^(2) + 2
f(6) = 6(6)^(2) + 2
f(6) = 6(36) + 2
f(6) = 216 + 2
f(6) = 218

Answer:

12.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

0.625km=62500cm. The scale factor is 1:5000. So the distance on the map will be 62500/5000=12.5 cm

Adam is an opera singer. Below are the number of times that his voice cracked during each of six concerts
Gre4nikov [31]

In this picture dots are clearly shown the frequency of the concert.

What is Frequency?

Frequency refers to the number of times an event or a value occurs. A frequency table is a table that lists items and shows the number of times the items occur.

Here, in given data about the six concerts

Concerts Frequency

    0 2

    1 2

    2 1

    3 1

Thus, on number line we mark 2 dots on zero, 2 dots on one, 1 dot on two and 1 dot on 3.
