The Palmer Raids were abusive and went against the Constitution and jailed many innocent people without say, which the ACLU ended up deeming many of their actions such as the abuse and jailing illegal. After the Palmer Raids, Mitchell Palmer, who came up with the idea, was completely dishonored.
