Answer:

You will get $40 back from a 100 dollar bill here's why:

Step-by-step explanation:

First finding tax you have to find 7% of 48 so what I did was find 1% of 48 and then multiply that by 7. So if you divide 48 by 100 you get 1%.This will end up being 0.48 as 1%, so taking that multiplying it by 7 you get $3.36 in tax. Now for tip you do .48 x 18 which equals 8.64 dollars in tip. Now add the total cost, tax, and tip, you get $60. Giving a 100 dollar bill you would receive 40 back because you are paying 60 dollars so 100-60=40 or the amount you recieve back. So there you have your answer!

Answer:

The bill is $60. You will recieve $40 in change.

Step-by-step explanation:

48 x 0.07 = $3.36

48 x 0.18 = $8.64

8.64 + 3.36 = $12

48 + 12 = $60

100 - 60 = $40

Hope this helps! Please mark as brainliest.

Which inequality describes the acceptable weights for the suitcase?
Yanka [14]

Based on the given options, the inequality for the acceptable weights of the suitcase is 32.5 ≤ x ≤ 47.5.

What is the acceptable weight for the suitcase?

You didn't include the full question but this question can be answered based on the given options.

When inequalities are written, there is no inclusion of "or" which eliminates options A and C.

It is illogical to have an inequality as 32.5 ≥ x ≥ 47.5. This is because if 32.5 is larger or equal to x, then x cannot be larger than 47.5. This is mathematically impossible.

This leaves the likely answer as 32.5 ≤ x ≤ 47.5 which means that the weight of the suitcase has to be larger than or equal to 32.5 but less than or equal to 47.5.
