i have civics so i know they made the constitution because the article of confederation were too weak and people thought they were gonna loose their rights so they made the constitution and the bill of rights to go with it so people would agree to it (the people in congress that is) and they did it so people would sign the constitution knowing if the articles of confederation were removed the bill of rights would be included in the constitution.
