Answer:

  • He created a code of law for the empire.
  • He ordered the construction of Hagia Sophia.

Explanation:

Emperor Justinian of the Byzantine empire will always be mentioned as one of their most prominent emperors for his actions while he sat on the throne. One such action was the creation of the Code of Justinian which was a collection of legal codes that helped the empire in being governed better.

Justinian ordered that the Hagia Sophia be built as well. At the time, it was one of the largest churches in the world and became a hallmark of the Byzantine empire. It was however, converted to a mosque when the Ottomans defeated the Byzantines.

A and D. I'll proceed to put random gibberish to make the answer kind of long so that those who are using up all their questions won't have to watch a pesky video. For those who didn't, just ignore the long stuff, as it is not important. The answers are A and D because they seem right to me, and most likely are. Ahaha

How did building new England towns and cities around a common help colonies develop a divers economy
Otrada [13]

The building of New England towns and cities around a common helped the colonies by creating a diverse economy for numerous reasons. If towns and cities were built around a common, more people from different areas would be acquiring goods from other regions. This opened doors for trading and selling items, which happened a lot during this time. Trading different goods and items from different areas helped people spread culture and diversity. More people were able to get things they wouldn't have been able to before because of shipping ports where they lived. Along with items being easier to obtain, they made profit by selling goods to other countries, like Europe.

Why did the ancient city-state of Athens and Sparta develop different political systems?
sergij07 [2.7K]

The mountainous topography of the Greek peninsula resulted in the isolation of these two city-states.

Athens developed a system that valued philosophy and active political involvement by its citizens in an early form of democracy. (Note that it wasn't full democracy as we'd think of it today, as those who had a political voice were free men, not women or slaves.)

Sparta developed a militaristic system that valued physical training and military service, as well as a strict loyalty to the state.
