Answer:

  • He created a code of law for the empire.
  • He ordered the construction of Hagia Sophia.

Explanation:

Emperor Justinian of the Byzantine empire will always be mentioned as one of their most prominent emperors for his actions while he sat on the throne. One such action was the creation of the Code of Justinian which was a collection of legal codes that helped the empire in being governed better.

Justinian ordered that the Hagia Sophia be built as well. At the time, it was one of the largest churches in the world and became a hallmark of the Byzantine empire. It was however, converted to a mosque when the Ottomans defeated the Byzantines.

A and D. I'll proceed to put random gibberish to make the answer kind of long so that those who are using up all their questions won't have to watch a pesky video. For those who didn't, just ignore the long stuff, as it is not important. The answers are A and D because they seem right to me, and most likely are. Ahaha

What event that was an attempt for states to resolve their differences came directly before the Constitutional Convention?
Fiesta28 [93]

The event that was an attempt for states to resolve their differences before the Constitutional Convention was the Annapolis Convention.

Explanation

The Annapolis Convention was held in Annapolis (Maryland), on September 11-14, in 1786 and it was created to discuss, develop and remove the trade barriers that each state had established since the government had no power to regulate trade between the states.

Only twelve delagates from five states attended the convention (New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Delaware) and it failed to accomplished its purpose, but the recommendations made by the delagates were later adopted by the U.S Congress.

Do you think the story of Atalanta is meant to inspire women to break out of traditional roles, or to warn them that doing so is
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

I think the story of Atalanta is meant to inspire women to break out of traditional roles, or to warn them that doing so is dangerous because she was rejected by her father and then became what he always wanted to have for a child. Then, she proved she had the same capabilities as a man and that she then became better than many of them. Also, she didn't need a man.

Explanation:

The reason I have to think this is that Atalanta was born the daughter of two gods. But she was dropped out in the wilderness because her father wanted to have a male child, not a female on. Then, she was raised by hunters and she learned to hunt incredibly good, she also became an amazing fighter and decided to not look for a man. She was attacked by minotaurs and defeated them. So she represents a new gender perspective.
