Answer:

The 1896 supreme court ruling of plessy v. ferguson reinforced an already established American policy of separate but equal, which was just being racist insofar that it segregated African American people

Explanation:

The state of Louisiana enacted a law that required separate railway cars for blacks and whites. In 1892, Homer Plessy--who was 1/8 black --took a seat in a "whites only" car of a Louisiana train. He refused to move to the car reserved for blacks and was arrested The Supreme Court ruled that the "separate but equal" provision of the Louisiana law was constitutional. The case established this principle of segregation until it was overturned in 1954 Established "separate but equal", also know as segregation, as constitutional. After this, Jim Crow Laws, laws that discriminated against African Americans, spread across the US and were heavily enforced in the South

tbh I tried to look for it and this is all I got not 100% sure

Briefly explain why Arizona sided with the confederacy during the civil war
weqwewe [10]
One of the main factors leading up to the Civil War was territorial expansion into places like Arizona and Texas, with the question being whether these new states would be free or slave. It was in Arizona's interest to side with the slave states.
