Once normal economic life in Russia had come to an end, and the army’s needs had been fulfilled, there was precious little left
Nana76 [90]

Answer:

The contradiction exists at the moment when the narrator affirms that in emio the scarcity of food, the grains of the peasants were seized.

Explanation:

A text presents a contradiction when it presents an incompatibility between two premises, where one cancels the meaning of the other or leaves that meaning imprecise and unreliable. An example of this can be seen in the text shown in the question above, in the lines "In fact, food supplies were so short that Lenin had to send the secret police, the 'Cheka', into the countryside to seize the grain supplies of peasants, "where the narrator says there was a severe shortage of food, but then he says the peasants had enough grain to be seized.

podryga [215]
The answer is B.

“Finally, Union gunboats and troop transport boats ran the batteries at Vicksburg and met up with Grant's men who had marched overland in Louisiana. On April 29 and April 30, 1863, Grant's army crossed the Mississippi and landed at Bruinsburg, Mississippi. An elaborate series of demonstrations and diversions fooled the Confederates and the landings occurred without opposition. Over the next 17 days, Grant maneuvered his army inland and won five battles, captured the state capital of Jackson, Mississippi, and assaulted and laid siege to Vicksburg.”

The story of the 47 Ronin is a real historical account of Japan. Its author wanted to reinstate in the modern times that there is more to human life than the repetitive existence and work. People must find in themselves a deeper sense of existence, a deeper meaning in life, an unending adherence to a long history of culture and loyalty. The Japanese ronin existed in an era in Japan where there were no more wars to fight. The samurai was regarded as a warrior class that earns deep respect from the people. In fears that the Japanese spirit might be slowly slipping away, it is very timely that the story of the 47 Ronin is retold. Should the author have existed in feudalistic Europe, the story would have been different because in Europe, treatment of knights is very different. The knights were given land titles to govern. Knighthood is only given to the noblemen. It is more of a status quo rather than a binding story for loyalty and respect.
