Answer:

The Industrial Revolution meant that poverty became concentrated in urban areas instead of the countryside. ... It led to contestation of laissez faire economics since it was associated with the emergence of that poverty. Socialist thinkers contested capitalism both in Europe and in the USA

To build on this, in the United Kingdom, Fredrick Ingles and Karl Marx saw the poverty that the poor were working in. This gave birth to a book called “The Communist Manifesto” this book explained an economic system where the people were benefiting equally.

Capitalism caused the Industrial Revolution because industrialization required significant work and investment from individuals and not necessarily the government. ... This investment from individuals, whose actions were guided by the profit motive, would not have been possible without the emergence of capitalism.

1. In your opinion, why do we need to defend the customary experience inherited from generations?
GarryVolchara [31]

Explanation: Since its asking for my personal opinion i will give you my response.

I think that we should obey the govs laws bc they are there to make sure we are safe. If there were not rules in place then this country would be a mess. (America.) I'm not saying all the rules are okay. Some shouldn't be there but they are sadly.

What did Stalin agree to do in return for the Allied invasion of France?
Svetach [21]

declare war on Japan once the Nazis were defeated is your answer.

In the years before the declaration of war by the USSR on Japan (following the two nuclear attacks on Hiroshima & Nagasaki), the USSR had tried to keep a good relationship with Japan to avoid fighting a two-front war (which would be extremely hard considering the great distance in between European Russia and Asia Russia. However, if USSR was able to defeat one and then the other, it would be easier.

This led to the decision to help the Allies take pressure off the landing of the French beaches (Sword, Juno, Omaha, Utah, etc), and was able to 'tie up' large amounts of German troops in the east.

In return, the USSR declared war on Japan following the bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki (as said above), and the declaration of war on Japan, leading to Japan's surrender.

Why did Japanese soldiers kill so many civilians in Nanking, China?
Rus_ich [418]

The correct answer is A. Commanders encouraged their soldiers to be as brutal as possible.

The massacre of Nanking was a series of crimes against humanity committed by the Japanese army while they were occupying the city of Nanking and its surroundings in 1937. These crimes involved killings of civilians and prisoners, torture, violations, plunder, and other several atrocities. According to different estimates, the number of dead civilians rises above 300 000. This brutality was a direct result of the orders of the Japanese commanders: prince Asaka and general Matsui, among other Japanese military leaders.

In which area did the South have an advantage over the North in the civil war?
den301095 [7]

Their military leadership.

Explanation:

The area that the South had an advantage over the North in the Civil War was their military leadership. Their military leaders had a lot of experience and knew what they were doing. They knew the land and everything about it and were very determined, which rubbed off on other soldiers.

The North had a lot of more money than the South and they had access to more ports, so the North was often times more equipped than the South was. Even so, the excellent military leadership that the South had was a scary advantage that the North could not beat.

A lot of the battles that happened during the Civil War happened in the South, so the South was able to have a defensive war. The Confederate leaders knew the land better than the North, so this was an advantage.
