Answer:

Because wind is able to do work.

Explanation:

Work has different definition in physics and economic.

In physics, work refers to a transfer of energy to a certain object that is caused by the use of force in the direction of the displacement.

Let's take windmill as an example.

Windmill utilize the force of wind to  generate electricity. This could only happen because wind could produce kinetic energy that is directed to rotate the generator within the windmill. This rotation of the generator is what produced the electricity. This process wouldn't be possible if wind does not have energy.

President theodore roosevelt supported conservation efforts for all of the following reasons except __________.
Alinara [238K]

President Theodore Roosevelt supported conservation efforts for all of the following reasons EXCEPT America, which was too much dependent on imported foreign oil.

Many people refer to Theodore Roosevelt as the "conservationist president." Roosevelt is memorialized by a national park that carries his name and preserves the memory of this great conservationist here in the North Dakota Badlands, where many of his personal concerns first gave rise to his  environmental initiatives.

The United States Forest Service (USFS) was established by Roosevelt after he was elected president in 1901, and the American Antiquities Act of 1906 allowed for the creation of 150 national forests, 51 federal bird reserves, four national game preserves, five national parks, and 18 national monuments. Theodore Roosevelt safeguarded almost 230 million acres of public property when he was president.
