Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

4). a). If the diagonals of a parallelogram are congruent, then it must be a RECTANGLE.

b). If the diagonals of a parallelogram are perpendicular, then it must be a SQUARE.

c). If the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect the angles of the parallelogram, then it must be a RHOMBUS.

d). If the diagonals of a parallelogram are perpendicular and congruent, then it must be a SQUARE.

e). If a parallelogram has four congruent sides, then it must be a SQUARE.

5). Given quadrilateral SELF is a rhombus.

a). All sides of a rhombus are equal,

   Therefore, ES = EL = 25

b). Diagonals of a rhombus bisects the opposite angles,

   Therefore, m∠ELS = m∠FLS

    3x - 2 = 2x + 7

    3x - 2x = 7 + 2

    x = 9

c). Diagonals of the rhombus bisect the opposite angles, and adjacent angles are supplementary.

m∠ELF = 2(m∠ELS) = 2(2y - 9)

m∠LES = 2(m∠LEF) = 2(3y + 9)

And 2(2y - 9) + 2(3y + 9) = 180

(2y - 9) + (3y + 9) = 90

5y = 90

y = 18

There was one half of a pizza left. It was divided equally amongst 3 kids. What fraction of the pizza did each kid get?
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

one-sixth

multiply the numerator (2) by the number of kids (3) because you are accounting for the fraction of the whole pizza. By doing this you should get 3/6. divide the denominator by the number of kids (3/3) getting you to a value of 1, and replace the denominator, making the amount of pizza one-sixth.

Answer:

7t^2 + 21t

Step-by-step explanation:

You have 7 tiles of each t by t+3.

One tile has an area of

t * (t+3) = t^2 + 3t

So in total the area is

7* (t^2 + 3t)

7t^2 + 21t

Can you answer this and simplify this?
BARSIC [14]

Answer and Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the rectangle is 3 + w (w represents the width).

The polynomial representing the area of the rectangle:

a (area) = w(3 + w) = w^2 + 3w

A)

a = 1

b = 2

c = 3

d = 1

B)

w = 4

(4)^2 + 3(4) = 8 + 12 = 20

e = 20
