Hi!! Please explain how you got the answer, thanks!! :))

Start out by finding the area of the square.

a = 4²

a = 16

Since all we have to look at is 1/4 of this square, multiply the area by 1/4.

(16)1/4

4

The area of the triangle is 4.

Now we need the area of the circle.

a = πr²

Sub: a = π(2)²

a = π(4)

Since the portion of the circle that covers the triangle is 1/4 of the circle, subtract 1/4 of the area of the circle from the area of the circle.

a = 4 - 1/4(π(4))

a = 4 - 1/4π x 1

a = 4 - 1/4π

Now this is where it's supposed to go, considering the fact that π isn't given a value.

Normally, I'd use 3.14 for π, as the entire population would, and then it would be easy, but obviously that isn't an option.

Now this answer isn't up there, so my best option is to tell you it's most likely c, and I hope I'm right.

Uhh good luck I guess this math test is weird

maria uses 2 3/4 cups of flour, 13/8 cups of sugar, and 1/2 cup of butter what is the total amount of ingredients used to make t
Gre4nikov [31]
Volume of the flour = 2 3/4
Volume of the sugar = 13/8
Volume of the butter = 1/2

Total volume
2 3/4 + 13/8 + 1/2
11/4 + 13/8 + 1/2
(22+13+4) / 8
39 / 8
4 7/8

Answer:

(3,5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we are asked to find the reflection of Point P(-1,5) along the line represented by x=1

Please refer to the image attached with answer.

We have point P (-1,5) , the line x=1 and the Point R which is the reflection of P across x=1

now we can see that P is 2 units towards left of the line x=1. hence its reflection across x=1 will be 2 units away towards right of line. 2 units away , the x coordinate will be 1+2 = 3

Hence the x coordinate is 3 and y coordinate remains the same. Hence the coordinates of R will be (3,5)

Directions: For the following systems, determine whether or not the ordered triple (1, -1, -2) is a solution to the equations be
Fofino [41]

Answer:

NOT

Step-by-step explanation:

Put x = 1, y = -1 and z = -2 to the equation 3x - 3y - z = 2, and check the equality:

3(1) - 3(-1) - (-2) = 3 + 3 + 2 = 8 ≠ 2
