A rental car agency charges a flat fee of $110.00 plus $46.00 per day to rent a certain car. Another agency charges a fee of $70
Alinara [238K]
<span>The answer to this question would be: 5 days
In this question, there are two kinds of rent pricing and you are asked to find the number of days when both of them will charge the same price.
From the description, you can get an equation of each price which would look like this(x=number of day rent):

cost1= 110 + 46x
cost2= 70 + 54x

Then, the days when the price same would be:
cost1 = cost2
</span>110 + 46x= 70+54x
110-70= 54x - 46x
40= 8x
x=5

What is the conditional relative frequency of selling an item marked 50% off, provided the item sold is item 2?
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

Conditional relative frequency = 0.67

Step-by-step explanation:

               50% off        Buy 1, get 1 free      Total

Item 1         12                       8                      20

Item 2         20                      10                     30

Total           32                      18                     50

Condition relative frequency table:

               50% off        Buy 1, get 1 free      Total

Item 1         \frac{12}{20}=0.6             \frac{8}{20}=0.4            \frac{20}{20}=1

Item 2        \frac{20}{30}=0.67           \frac{10}{30}=0.33          \frac{30}{30}=1

Total            \frac{32}{50}=0.64           \frac{18}{50}=0.36          \frac{50}{50}=1

Therefore, conditional relative frequency of selling an item marked 50% off, provided the item sold is item 2 = 0.67
