Explanation:

Most foods today are genetically modified foods have become more popular every year. Genetically modified food (GM food) is food which has been produced using organisms that have been engineered genetically (GM organisms). GM food contains GM organisms. The genetically modified food has been changed to ensure the saftey of the crop and its growth.

Some examples of GMO foods are: soybeans, potatos, beets, cotton and corn. these foods are produced using DNA

technology. They can make genetic hybrids so that in the future if the non-genetic foods are destroyed their is genetically modified foods and we dont all starve.

In conclusion, I argue that genetically modified foods should not be encouraged because there is not enough research on their impact in the natural environment.

Answer:

Genetically Modified foods are from Genetically Modified Organisms, (GMOs.) Genetic Engineering is how these organisms come to be modified. Gene Splicing is a process in which specific genes (traits) are selected, "cut and pasted" into an organism in which the organism is selectively breed with another organism of the same species for the offspring to produce a GMO. Organisms like Cattle or Crops can be genetically modified for increased food yields and is capable of producing disease resistant animals.

For the Essay since you have to argue, just know there are beliefs that people may argue that GMOs could be responsible for cancers or cellular mutations in humans which would give you a claim for disagreeing which Genetic Engineering.
